The Singer 201 was Singer’s top-of-the-line full-size straight stitch machine from 1932 to 1961, and is undoubtedly the smoothest running Singer ever made with its horizontal rotary hook and gear-driven “potted” motor. This particular 201 is in very good condition, with a very shiny clear coat and small signs of wear on the paint. This machine features straight stitch, backstitch, and adjustable feed height. This is a low-shank machine and is compatible with all Singer low-shank attachments from this era.
