The Singer Model 237 Fashion Mate is one of Singer’s legendary machines from the late 60’s and early 70’s. The 237 was designed to be Singer’s successor to the Model 15, and definitely lives up to the reputation. Singer packed the 237 with all of the heavy-duty metal components of the Model 15, with the addition of zig-zag stitch, drop-feed, left-center-right needle position control, and ergonomic front-mounted thread guides.
